Snapshot surveys
Useful data that is hard to find out
Snapshot allows members to share views anonymously on topics that are useful to know but hard to find out. Some are updated regularly, such as our annual salary survey, while others are one-offs. Ideas for topics are always welcome.
When a Snapshot uncovers matters of interest to a broader audience, press releases will be issued and/or campaigns initiated on members' behalf.

Still no bed of roses
PM Forum Pressure Index shows ‘double dip’ as more marketers look for new jobs.
The six months to June 2010 resulted in a material increase
in pressure on marketers according to the most recent
update of the PM Forum Pressure Index. Perhaps unsurprisingly,
34% of the 200 respondents to the survey are
looking for a new job – up from 24% in December.
The ‘double dip’ increase was due to material changes to four of
the five Index components: headcount reductions; intra-year budget
changes; overtime; and replacing leavers. The fifth component (use of
external consultants) was unchanged. A base of 100 is assumed for a
pressure-free environment.
